		<description><![CDATA[Ummm.... I don&#039;t understand why people care so much about whether D-Wave&#039;s system is getting a boost from quantum mechanical effects or not.  In my humble opinion, all that matters is can the machine do what it was designed to do?  Can it perform the calculations they say it can?  Lockheed will soon find out.  If it can, then who cares?  I am not in a position to judge D-Wave, but I do agree with them on one point.  Just because for over a decade researchers believed a quantum computer HAD to behave a certain way, does not mean there aren&#039;t other ways to exploit quantum effects to achieve computing abilities that classical systems either do not have or are very slow at performing.]]></description>
